Yes. Instructions are included to power the locomotives. They use 2 Power Functions L-Motors, 1 PF Extension Wire, 1 PF I.R. Receiver, and 1 PF Battery Box.

Yes, we will be offering four different road names at first. Norfolk Southern, CONRAIL, BNSF, and Burlington Northern, each will have two different paint schemes available. We hope to release other road names in the future.
