Selander<\/h5>\n<p>First up we have a <a title=\"Swedish State Railways\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Swedish_State_Railways\">Swedish State Railways<\/a>\u00a0electric <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SJ_Da\">Da class<\/a> by\u00a0<a class=\"owner-name truncate\" title=\"Go to Thomas Selander's photostream\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/45034697@N03\/\" data-track=\"attributionNameClick\" data-rapid_p=\"86\">Thomas Selander<\/a>. The Da was a\u00a0modernized version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SJ_D\">D-type<\/a>. The Da was built by\u00a0<a title=\"ASEA\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ASEA\">ASEA<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a01953 and 1960. It&#8217;s simple, utilitarian, and humble. It just gets the job done without the need to be flashy about it. And it&#8217;s also a side rod electric, I love those. Thomas has done a wonderful job recreating the Da in LEGO. Like the real locomotive, his build is simple, but effective. The simple <a title=\"Overhead line\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Overhead_line\">catenary<\/a>\u00a0and electrical box perfectly compliment the locomotive. Rc6.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SJ_Rc\">SJ Class Rc<\/a> is the most used <a title=\"Electric locomotive\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electric_locomotive\">electric locomotive<\/a> in <a title=\"Sweden\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sweden\">Sweden<\/a>. Rc is a universal locomotive used both in freight and passenger trains. The largest operator is <a title=\"Green Cargo\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Green_Cargo\">Green Cargo<\/a>, although <a title=\"SJ AB\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SJ_AB\">SJ<\/a>, <a title=\"Veolia Transport\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Veolia_Transport\">Veolia Transport<\/a>, <a class=\"new\" title=\"T\u00e5g\u00e5keriet (page does not exist)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=T%C3%A5g%C3%A5keriet&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\">T\u00e5g\u00e5keriet<\/a>, <a title=\"Hector Rail\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hector_Rail\">Hector Rail<\/a> and the <a title=\"Swedish Transport Administration\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Swedish_Transport_Administration\">Swedish Transport Administration<\/a> operate it as well.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether there have been 8 versions of the Rc-locomotive in Sweden including the freight locomotive Rm designed to pull iron ore trains. Rc1, Rc2, Rc4, and Rc5 have a maximum allowed speed of 135\u00a0km\/h. Rc3 and Rc6 have a maximum allowed speed of 160\u00a0km\/h. Rc7 was a rebuild of Rc6 meant to haul replacement trains needed when the <a title=\"X 2000\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/X_2000\">X 2000<\/a> trains were canceled or delayed.
