The Brick Train Awards is a global virtual competition to showcase LEGO train builders around the world. The Awards where founded in 2020 and with a surprising 732 entries last year, the organization decided to run it again this year. Like previous year, the Brick Train Awards is a collaboration between LNUR, Bricks McGee and BMR. The awards are free to enter and judged by members of the LEGO\u00ae train fan community worldwide. The entries are op from 1st – 28th February 2021. The winners of this year\u2019s awards will be announced on March the 5th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Categories<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Each category of the Brick Train Awards is judged at a regional level: Africa, Americas, Asia, Australasia, Europe & the Middle East. The winners of each category on a regional level, are then pitted against each other to declare global winners in each category. The winner from each category is then entered into the global Brick Train Awards. You can enter each category up to three times with different models. The 13 categories in total:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Best LEGO\u00ae Diesel Locomotive Award<\/li>
  3. Best LEGO\u00ae Electric Locomotive Award<\/li>
  4. Best Other LEGO\u00ae Locomotive Award<\/li>
  5. Best LEGO\u00ae Passenger Wagon Award<\/li>
  6. Best LEGO\u00ae Freight Wagon Award<\/li>
  7. Best LEGO\u00ae Other Wagon Award<\/li>
  8. Best LEGO\u00ae Building or Infrastructure Award<\/li>
  9. Best LEGO\u00ae Individual Display Award<\/li>
  10. Best group LEGO\u00ae display<\/li>
  11. Best TFOL LEGO\u00ae Locomotive Model<\/li>
  12. Best TFOL LEGO\u00ae Wagon Model<\/li>
  13. Best TFOL LEGO\u00ae Display \/ Structure<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    For more information about each category check out the category page on the BrickTrainAwards website<\/a>. There is a long list, and compared to last year, this year there more TFOL categories. The reason behind this is that last year the TFOL category was one of the categories with the most entries, which made it difficult to decide a winner since there were so many different entries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
